Fraser Ralston has been taking professional photographs since 1989, initially selling his worldwide travel photography to a wide selection of publishers for use in magazines, educational and travel books, brochures and advertising literature. His images have appeared in hundreds of titles such as The Economist, Executive Travel, Flight International, Ireland Images. He now mainly specialises in stunning panoramic photography from locations as far afield as Antarctica to his native Glasgow.
Rlaston has a unique perspective on subjects with an amazing eye for capturing dramatic light and moods.A completely self taught photographer, Fraser insists that for great photography, its not so much the camera or technology that matters, but what you see and how you capture it; and certainly his photography portrays a dramatic artistic style. His enthusiasm for capturing the perfect image has taken him around the globe. Fraser recalls his most memorable photography road trips have been to Chile, Iceland, New Zealand and the desert states of the USA, whilst he claims words cannot do justice to his experiences in Antarctic...perhaps his photographs are the first chapter in pictures of Ralston's incredible adventure.
